    The customer service I have received from Murray GM is despicable and I would NEVER recommend that anyone purchase or lease from this company, their salesmen will tell you everything you want to hear but when it comes to service it is a whole different story...

    Our most recent issue with them is also leading right down the same path, no support, no warranty... this issue was brought to my attention today when I went out to defrost the car for my grandfather to find that on the fan settings switch only the highest setting of 4 will function, this makes it nearly impossible to drive during cold weather because you are either unable to see at all due to window frosting or you are cooking yourself alive with the maximum heat setting. I asked him about this and he said that during his first winter using the car he asked about it on one of the scheduled service calls and was told "oh its just the way the heater works in this car...", so he believed it and bought himself a 12v plug in heater that he has to use instead of the built in one, when I found out about this today I went straight in and talked to the rep at the service desk, he informed me that it was only warrantied to 100,000 kms (the car is at 116,000) and that it is a $60 part and labor would add an additional $100-$120, I stated that this was unacceptable and asked to speak with the owner or manager both of whom were conveniently in a meeting but was assured that most definitely one of them would call me before end of business today, well business hours for them ended 18 minutes ago and I have not heard from them as of yet....

    My 82 year old Grandfather bought a Pontiac Wave from Murray back in 2009, he knows very little about vehicles and is trusting so he believes what salesmen tell him. He was talked into buying a "comprehensive extended warranty" and was informed that it would cover everything except the tires and breaks, well last winter his transmission blew out on him, it turns out that the clutch let go and cut a slice right around the transmission housing, no big deal we thought as we assumed that his warranty that he paid dearly for would cover it ... not so ... we were quickly informed that since the clutch was what caused the issue they would not cover any of it under warranty, that was a $2500 repair job out of pocket for a used transmission that would carry only a 90 day warranty, this transmission is now acting up and will not easily shift into or out of second gear but we have just decided it is something that we will have to endure as it is simply not worth putting in another transmission at this point.

    purchased my 2014 sonic Murray. best little car I've ever owned. no issues with vehicle and shuttle service is a great bonus as I regularly have my car cleaned here

    Be very cautious if you are considering buying a vehicle from them, in my opinion they take great advantage of elderly persons whom usually will not question or argue about a charge or an issue and are far to trusting.

    The next issue that was brought to my attention was the regularly scheduled service appointments, my grandfather was getting a call every 6-8 weeks letting him know that is was time for his service call, he then promptly took the vehicle in and they would inspect various points and change the oil ... (every 6-8 weeks), now keep in mind that he might put 600km on this vehicle a MONTH, so he was being charged nearly $60 every time they changed the oil (which depending on the oil type should last between 5,000 - 15,000 kms...) and he thought he had to have this done as part of his maintenance agreement...
